The 2018 United State of Women Summit isn’t just a conference — it’s a powerful gathering of women and allies from across the country who know their energy and power will break down barriers that stand between women and full equality.On May 5th and 6th, thousands of women will convene in Los Angeles to inspire and be inspired, to motivate and be motivated, to teach and to learn. Attendees will connect with leading organizations to channel their energy into action, leaving with new ideas and partners, hands-on
training, and the tools and resources they need to make change at all levels.
DAY ONE at the SHRINE AUDITORIUM
Day One will engage women, girls, and allies from across the country through inspiring mainstage sessions, issue-breakouts, opportunities to connect with leading fellow changemakers, and an interactive center with organizations and women-owned businesses.
DAY TWO in LOS ANGELES
On Day Two, attendees will fan out across Los Angeles to attend skills-based trainings or Community Teach-In's hosted by a range of organizations that are making change on gender equity in Los Angeles. Please note that registration for these Day Two events will open at a later date.
SPEAKERS

Join The MAJOR Fund in a conversation with Hero Women Rising on how their Stay in School Kits may be a simple solution to a complex problem.
Neema Namadamu, an advocate for peace and women’s rights, a disability rights activist, a former member of the DRC Parliament, a Technical Advisor for the DRC Minister of Gender and Family, and the founder of Hero Women Rising, will be speaking about her experiences growing up in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and how Hero Women Rising is empowering and improving the lives of women throughout her country.
